My favorite place to be during any school day is at Clyde Howell! It’s a wonderful place for young children and teachers! I have had the pleasure of being a part of the Clyde Howell staff since it’s opening as an Early Childhood Center in 2004!
I graduated from the University of Tulsa with a BA in early childhood, special education, and elementary education. In 2008 I successfully completed the process to become a National Board Certified Teacher in Early Childhood Education. This will be my 36th year teaching. During this time I have found teaching Pre-k and kindergarten age children to be fun and rewarding. I have been teaching in the Edmond School district since 1998, starting at Angie Debo before joining Clyde Howell. Prior to coming to Edmond, I taught in inner city schools in Shreveport, Louisiana, and Tulsa. I love being at Clyde Howell where our whole emphasis is four and five year-old children.
I have been married to my husband, Don, since 1981, and am blessed with three sons, two daughter-in-laws, a new baby granddaughter, and a schnauzer named Baxter
