Investigating nature’s giants such as the sun and moon led Clyde Howell students to explore day and night activities. As a culminating activity all students and teachers wore their pajamas to school Friday November, 11. Some of the learning activities that students participated in were:

*graphed what type of pajamas were worn

*participated in music and movement activity “Late Last Night” students would go to sleep and wake up wearing different types of shoes that required different types of dancing

*thought of different sorting rules to sort all the pajamas

*heard fun stories such as Llama Llama Red Pajama

*snacked on half a donut and milk

*used flashlights to retell the “Spooky Old Tree” story

*used  flashlights to dance light on the ceiling to different speeds of music
