Thursday and Tuesday evening, October 14 and 18, students and parents participated in Student Led Conferences at Clyde Howell. They spent about 20 minutes in the classroom independently completing a list of activities that would show what they have been learning at school this quarter. Students took their parents on a tour of the classroom naming the centers and told about their favorite, played a five senses game, completed a sorting activity, counted 10 triangles for snack, read a big book, and took their parents through the message board activity. Parents could see their child in action, giving them insight into how their child is progressing. Parents then spent time visiting with their child’s teacher. Fun was had by all and great memories were created. Teachers were pleased and proud to report almost 100% participation was reached.
