Clyde Howell teachers and assistants visited students in their homes August 8 and 9th. Fun was had by all as children finally got to meet their teachers. Students were given a friendship bracelet and a countdown calendar to help them know how many more days until they can come to school. Parents were given information about arrival and dismissal procedures and had the opportunity to ask any questions they had about the beginning of school. This meeting jump-starts the school home connection and is very successful in calming first day jitters.
